Went to the gynae that Peiteng introduced me to. It's at Lucky Plaza. Woke up at 11am today. Baby came home while I was bathing. Mom and I accompanied Baby to Chinatown Point to sign his Letter of Appointment for his new job. Went to eat lunch at People's Park Centre hawker before heading there as his appointment is at 2pm.
Mom and I waited for Baby at MacDonalds in Chinatown Point. While we were munching fries halfway, Baby texted me telling me to go ahead with my gynae appointment first. His boss brought him to another office to do some stuff.
So mom and I headed over to Lucky Plaza by bus. Went to check Kusuma Lee Women's Clinic and Lee's Women Clinic (which Peiteng introduced) for the delivery package prices. Made a comparison, end up sticking the one that Peiteng intro. First check-up was $100 inclusive of ultrasound scan and consultation. Took a blood test which Baby insisted me to. It consisted of alot of tests because I'm already 19 weeks pregnant. And that bloody blood test cost $200. Medication and vitamin pills $15.
Doctor said that it's a baby girl. <3 Saw her face, body, hands and legs. Even her small little toes and fingers. The feeling was really indescribable. I just smiled to myself. She's fidgeting all the way while the doctor did the scan on me. Moved her head, hands and legs. Active uh. She's weighing 191 grams currently. And poor me had put on 3.5 kilograms. After the scan, the staff proceed the blood test for me. She first took blood from my right arm. I did not dare to look at it, but Baby said she keep pulling the syringe in and out and only did managed to get a little amount of blood. It's freaking painful!
She said the blood collected wasn't enough. So she cleaned up the wound and proceed on my left arm. Wtf?! But luckily this time wasn't that bad. She drew the required amount and cleaned my wound. By then, both my arms feels very weak. I can only slowly raise up my hands. Headed to Daniel's dad's temple after that. Baby and mom asked for a good date for our wedding. He gave us some dates somewhere in January 2011. But the best date is 18th of January.
Dinner with mom, Uncle Johnny, Ah Kim, Baby's mom. They were discussing about our wedding stuff. Unlce Johnny popped alot of questions which I never expect him to. But I just kept quiet and continue eating my dinner. Home sweet home aftermath while Baby send MIL home.
Uncle Johnny and Ah Kim came up to our house for awhile. Ah Kim and mom was sharing their delivery experiences with me. Some of it sounds scary. But for darling girl's sake, I'm willing to bear any pain. My estimated due date is on the 26th of April 2011.
